I am an experienced beekeeper and will remove honeybee swarms in Central New Jersey at NO charge to you. In fact, I will give you a jar of my Central NJ honey for the privilege of saving the honey bee swarm. In keeping with NJ law against honey bee destruction, I will remove the swarm to one of my bee yards where it will be cared for. I will remove swarms that are no higher that 10 feet or so off the ground and will only remove swarms that are NOT inside walls, etc. If you are not sure what insect you have, please consult the pictures shown here. A honeybee swarm will always look similar to one of the pictures on the left - a football or larger sized cluster of bees, probably noisy, with bees flying around the cluster in circles. The cluster is fairly harmless, but SHOULD NEVER BE APPROACHED OR IN ANY WAY PHYSICALLY HARMED. The bees will protect themselves if they feel in danger. If left alone, the swarm will most likely move on in a couple of days at most. If you have wasps, hornets, yellow jackets or insects other tam honey bees, that is another matter and you will need to consult an exterminator. Should you have a honeybee swarm, click here to mail me, or for faster response call me at 908 (area code) J 432 J 9405. IF I DON'T PICK UP RIGHT AWAY...
